ComboFix can be used to remove even the most determined spyware. Here are few tenets to help you run the software in the right way. Remember, this application should only be activated if the helpers ask for it.
Preparing the Computer

Using the Application

The Registry and Recovery Console
The freeware will also back up your Registry files. It then will form the Windows Recovery Console. If it is's already in the system, this step will be skipped.
Note : if an error appears asserting the Recovery Console can't be created, just click to continue. You can make the Recovery Console after scanning is finished.
Before ComboFix starts, disconnect from the Net. If you don't, the application will do it for you. After scanning it'll try and reconnect again.
Scanning may take a while, so take 5. Don't be shocked if the clock format is changed. There will be a pop up updating you of the proceedings.
Note : don't do anything when the scan is being run.
After Scanning
A report will be created. Don't worry if the desktop vanishes. Once the result is generated, it'll come back. The clock format will also revert to normal after scanning. The application will shut down. Paste this log into the assistant. It'll explain to you what to do after.
Avoiding malware and adware
Only download from reputable internet sites. Hackers use programs to store viruses and spyware. It is also a smart idea to avoid opening .exe files in emails.
